Mini
MuSool TaeKwonDo (ages 4 to 6)
The Mini MuSool class is developed with younger children in mind. The focus of good manners, fair play, and age-appropriate martial arts is apparent in this program. Students will learn the importance of setting goals, and definitely have a great time!
Youth
MuSool TaeKwonDo (ages 7 to 12)
The youth TaeKwonDo classes start children off in a program that promotes
healthy habits. Classes focus on well-rounded workout program, good study
skills, respect and self-control. Children will learn martial arts basics,
goal-setting skills, self-respect and achievement. Appropriate
values are reinforced so that students will grow into respectful, caring
young adults. The martial arts can help children at this age to develop
socially, form work ethics, and learn much-needed leadership skills.

For the TaeKwonDo program, it is important for students to have a chance to participate in a class with students of their own skill and knowledge levels. For this reason, we have structured two classes to help bring our curriculum into focus for our students.
White Belt through Green Tip
Focuses on testing requirements up to Green Tip level.
Green Belt through Black Belt
Focuses on testing requirements for Green Belts and above
Teen/Adult
TaeKwonDo Classes (ages 13 & up)
This adult program develops self-improvement and self-defense that will
give students a sense of confidence. The students will develop a stronger
body, a sharper mind, and a healthier lifestyle. TaeKwonDo classes are
known for their aerobic and anaerobic training that helps develop and
maintain a fit body and clear mind. These lessons are designed to increase
the quality of one’s life.
MuSool HapKiDo
(ages 16 & up)
These classes are designed to teach the connection between mind, body,
and spirit. MuSool HapKiDo not only teaches the kicks and punches found
in other styles such as TaeKwonDo, but also teaches joint manipulation,
throwing techniques, and pressure points. The MuSool HapKiDo students
will learn how to focus the mind and body—all while learning a remarkable
self-defense.
Additional
Programs:
MuSool After-School
No need for daycare, send them to MuSool After School! Students will be
picked up after school and brought to MuSool Academy for TaeKwonDo training.
Classes are organized each day, and time will be given for each student
to finish up his or her homework. Most importantly, we have fun! Space is limited
MuSool TaeKwonDo
Team Training
Students that wish to compete in sport TaeKwonDo, the competition classes
offer an intense workout that teaches state of the art techniques required
to win Tournaments and Championships on the State, National, and International
level. Students must attend regular TaeKwonDo classes to participate in
this training program. Instructor approval required.
*Sport TaeKwonDo Class
This class will include all aspects of Sport TaeKwonDo training. This includes conditioning, sparring drills, and Olympic-style sparring. This class will also help students prepare for local and state level competitions. Space is limited .
*MuSool Demonstration Team
MuSool Academy is often asked to perform demonstrations around town for various groups. With the development of a competition team, we will be able to better fulfill these requests while providing a great outlet for our students to develop. This class will teach MuSool students the performance side of their martial art. The team may also participate in demonstration competitions against other schools. This team is lead by MuSool Black Belts Allana Creech and Chuck Moore. Space is limited.
MuSool Summer-School
When school is out, come train with us! We offer a summer camp that focuses
on giving students a constructive place to spend time, have fun and learn
TaeKwonDo. MuSool Summer School has a variety of classes and activities,
and often includes guest speakers and field trips. Space is limited
Fun Fitness Program
This program provides a fun and unique way to meet weight loss, fitness,
and health goals. The class is designed so that people of differing ability
levels, regardless of martial arts experience, can focus on their fitness
needs.
Mixed Martial Arts
(MMA)
In this class we give students the opportunity to combine their knowledge
of the martial arts. We integrate learning from all areas to safely practice
this up-and-coming new sport. Instructor approval required.
